Korean Public Holiday – 15 & 16 August 2027
Please note: Sunday, 15 August 2027, is National Liberation Day (Gwangbokjeol), a public holiday in Korea. As 15 August falls on a Sunday, Monday, 16 August 2027, will also be observed as a substitute public holiday.
As WC14 takes place from 15–19 August 2027, the opening days of the Congress coincide with this public holiday period. Participants are advised to take this into consideration when making their travel and accommodation arrangements, as increased demand may be expected.
We strongly recommend booking your travel and accommodation well in advance.
